What a Mess!

Guess it is time to update you all in the life of Kylie. She is now four and a half months old and we have added solid foods to her meal schedule! It isn't much, just a little rice cereal, but it is the funniest thing we have seen in her short life! Meal time is quite the production!

Luckily we have a huge supply of bibs for the little messy marvin!

She sure is proud of the messes she is making. Maybe we will have to invest in a high chair soon to help contain the mess. We can't believe how fast she is growing! (13.2 pounds, and 26 inches!)

Things are going great in our little family, each day brings new surprises (as foretold by many of our friends and family) and we are just taking every moment in and loving it.

Figured it was time for a post.

It has been a long time since we last posted. Babies take up quite a bit of time and now that we are both working full time again, leisure time is sometimes few and far between. It has been a busy start to our 2009 year. Jenny went back to work on the 5th of January, Kylie is being taken care of at a wonderful daycare where they spoil her rotten! Zack had Cataract (sp?) surgery on the 3rd of February to help with his eyesight, he gets the other one done in March. Kylie is now four months old and the world is a very exciting place. She laughs and talks constantly (wonder where she gets that from). She is gaining strength in her neck and back and pretty soon she will be crawling. What a new life that will bring! Other than that, nothing new has happened. Being parents is definitely a fun job, even though it can be challenging in the wee small hours of the morning. Now that the update is finished, here are some recent pictures.

The best Christmas present!

Before Kylie was even born, I asked Gary to make a rocking chair that we could put in her nursery.  I had no idea how perfect the chair would be until he brought it to our house on Saturday.  It is beautiful, as you can see from the pictures, and absolutely perfect!  I know that Kylie and I will be spending plenty of time in that chair.  I could not have asked for a better Christmas present!  What an amazing job!  We love it!

Yes, Kylie, There is a Santa Claus

Last night we took Kylie to visit the Santa House here in Cody.  I am pretty sure she asked for a bottle of milk, her parents asked for a full night of sleep. (which she is getting much better at!) If these pictures don't put you in the Holiday Spirit, I don't know what will.

Bad Hair Day (aka too much fun after bath time!)

 We haven't posted in a few weeks, but we wanted to share these pictures of Kylie trying out a new hairstyle after having a bath.  We thought they were funny maybe they will put a smile on your face too.

Five Weeks already!

Kylie is already five weeks old! (six weeks on Monday)  She is growing like a weed and everyday we have a new fun experience, today's experience: The tummy time mat! Who knows what fun we will have tomorrow.

The Calm Before the Storm

There are moments of sanity in between fits of crying.
