Is ther any hope?

I don't know if anyone else saw this scroll across the bottom liine on ESPN recently, but it just goes to show that some people love themselves just a little too much.
The other thing that I wanted to talk about a little bit was the Tampa Bay Rays. They are an unbelievable story in baseball this year and even though they've got a sizable lead on the Sox in the division, a small part of me is rooting for them. My problem isn't with the Rays or with their organization (who finally stopped treating their team as a glorified farm team for the "stronger" teams in baseball). My problem is with the Rays fans or lack thereof. The team with the best record in the American League has the 3rd worst attendance in the American league and the 5th worst in the majors. I could understand if it were early May and it was just a fluke, but the Rays have established themselves as a playoff team this year and fans still aren't paying attention.
Of the six division leaders right now, the Rays are the only ones averaging less than 30,000 fans per game, and not by a little bit. I heard a guy on ESPN Radio say the other that Florida is only good for spring training baseball. Since the Marlins have the worst attendance in the majors, maybe it's the truth. I can understand that it's Florida in the summer and there's a lot of outdoor activities that can be done, but come on Tampa, if you want a major league team, you better bring some major league support.

Everyone needs a vacation.

Well, for those that didn't know, last week was Jenny's parents 30th wedding anniversary. To celebrate, they flew Jenny, myself, her brother, and his wife down to Mazatlan, Mexico. I won't bore those who don't want to hear about it with the details of the trip. If you'd like to know more, let me know and I'll tell you about it.
We did take plenty of pictures though, and for those that want to see those, they are here. For me the best part of the trip was missing the 4th here in Cody, not a good time to be a resident in Park County.
Not much else happening here, Jenny's six months along and feeling pretty good. Work is work for me and that's about it.

Goodbye Jacoby! (Long Time No Post)

So after some hectoring in Denver from a certain bearded uncle of ours, I've decided to break the silence and begin posting again. I know all of you will miss looking at the boys looking at the taco, but it's time for a change.
Speaking of changes, for those that haven't heard, we are having a baby and the due date is now October 24. It seems like it gets moved up every time we see the doctor, so we could be looking at another October 16 baby!
I haven't posted in a while, but not much is new around here. Jenny and I moved to Cody in December (with gas at $3.47 a gallon, that seems like a good idea at this point. Gas is now more expensive than milk at $3.30 a gallon, top scientists in the Warner household are working on a milk-powered engine. So far, no breakthroughs.) Jenny is still teaching and I'm still pretending to be an electrician. I am now officially halfway done with the schooling and am looking forward to a summer break from "studying."
In other news, we didn't get many good pics from the Frozen Four in Denver. But here is what we did get. That's all for now, more to follow later.

While recovering from laser eye surgery, you know I'm not going to miss getting my free taco from Taco Bell. For those that don't know, Taco Bell said that if any player stole a base during the world series, everyone in America would get a free taco today from 2-5 pm. During Game 2 at Fenway, Jacoby Ellsbury stole a base, thus giving everyone in America a free taco. I took full advantage of the situation today, here are a few pics.

I need some advice from all of you guys. I found out today that Bright Eyes will be in Billings on Oct. 27. I know that several of you are fans of the band, and I'd like to know if they would be worth going to see live. I didn't go to see a band called Against Me! a couple months ago and have been kicking myself every time I hear one of their songs. So, for those that are familiar with Bright Eyes, would you go if you had the option?
